Sweet! haven't decided yet wether to go bars or basket for my roof rack. The bars look pretty damn good, gotta determine my best function.

That bed looks too nice to haul anything dead with blood coming out of it.

Hahaha - well, the BedRug is supposedly pretty tough, sales pitch is that you can dump a gallon of bleach in there and it won't discolor, and you can pressure wash the thing out. I don't really see myself getting the pressure washer wand up in there, well, you know, except for after those bodies.

I suppose you could still throw one of these in too. At any rate, just joshin' ya. Your truck looks great. I tested a black DCLB OR exactly like yours a couple nights ago. Long bed is a little smoother on the highway.

Yeah, I thought about going that route, I mostly haul around my wheelchair, recumbent trike, race chair, and future hand cycle back there, the wife really wanted the BedRug, so that's what I got. If I were rolling with no cap, I'd have gone for the mat or some other spray-in/drop-in liner. It's a drop in, so can pull it out pretty easily, attaches to hook and loop fasteners around the sides.

My goal is to get a Tacoma just like yours soon. Looks real good. Still not seeing many out there with toppers on them. I like the 6ft bed because I can sleep in the back when camping. 1 extra foot of bed is a lot of extra room.

Thanks man. Yeah, although it tends to be a bit higher maintenance, I love the black and I don't get to picky about the higher maintenance part. SnugTop caps for the LB are just now delivering, took them longer to get their mold done up than the short beds. +1 for sleeping back there, thinking the BedRug would be nice for that (there's some padding underneath as well) when we're too lazy to pitch the tent. I had to go the LB to fit my trike, etc. back there, short bed would not have worked unless I went bed extender, and that just seemed silly. Downside is, I had to surrender the garage parking spot to the wife, the truck will fit in there, just barely, and I couldn't talk wife into crawling through the cab every time she needed to get to the washer/dryer.

2600 with headliner, roof rack, windoors on both sides and sliding removable front window. Plus you get the recessed windows and the frameless glass rear door which only comes on AREs top of the line model.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I think the SnugTop Rebel just looks weird on the 2016 Tacomas. It just has a bit of a dated look on a very modern looking truck, and the size/shape of the Rebel's windows just don't look right with everything else.

I know it is very important to seal the front before putting topper on. I read we are supposed to remove front rail from the bed and put 3m adhesive on rail ends and the reinstall the front rail. I imagine you could use silicone caulk(after some type of cleaner/degreaser) from inside the bed if topper is already on.
