    Thanks!

:facepalm:Oops...You are absolutely right. My bad. It appears that I had mistook the Rollback for the Revolver.

How are you guys making your decision? G2-HD-Fibermax-F1.

Looks like HD is the upgraded/beefier G2, the Fibermax is the G2 with fiberglass skin, the F1 is HD with fiberglass skin

    fiberglass...more ding resistant
    Aluminium....more UV resistant...

In CA, i won't have much hail, but more sun...guess i should chose Aluminum? (HD)

Found another chart in addition to the bakflip official pdf.

Glove box color matching inlay decals.
I live in the Northeast and I am leaning toward the Revolver X2 because of the no hinges unlike the F1. Easier to sweep off snow. And the X2 says it is rated for 400 lbs F1 270 lbs and also can be locked down in incremental positions and when it is fully rolled up it does not go higher than your rear seat head rest so if you have a tall load you can see if it is shifting, again unlike the F1. Also the X2 has a 3 year warranty F1 has 2. Just a couple of thoughts but to each their own.

Now some of this stuff I quoted from Bak website contradicts picture posted above weight load and warranty.

    Thanks for sharing.

The chart shows that the F1's underside is made of aluminum. The F1 is protected against UV rays. It is the thickest of the four covers, with the heaviest weight rating.

Looks like you have some tough decisions.

The chart says the F1 can support 400lbs, and the Bakflip website says the F1 has a 3 year warranty too.

    Thanks for your interesting post.

Im going with the hd for the 6ft bed. I was thinking the f1 but it mounts differently than the others.

This PDF has already been posted, but it says the HD holds 400lbs just like the F1, panels are ALL aluminum at the core, fibermax and f1 have fiberglass on the outside.....coin flip.

Just got off the phone with the vendor.

    1. Bakboxes for Tacomas are discountinued as of a few weeks ago. No longer available. Not even in stock anymore.

    2. All second generation Tacoma BAK products are in stock and would ship within 2 - 3 days max with the exception of the guy ordering the CS. This is in stock at BAK, and would be dropped shipped from BAK. Drop shipping a stocked BAK product takes 7 - 10 days.

    3. Third gens: None of the major distributors can keep any of the 2016 covers in stock. They fly off the shelves as soon as BAK produces them. BAK is aware of this group buy and is willing to try and save some for us. Due to manufacturing issues with the revolver and other covers and some clamps (I dont know what clamps), BAK got behind with production. It appears this was already solved and they should start cathing up soon. The estimated wait time to get an item drop shipped from BAK is up to 14 days. It could be sooner, but they expect up to 14 days due to BAK having to catch up with production due to the delay.

**If you noticed Morrie's post on the other thread, he mentioned that BAK should be shipping items within a few days after resolving the production issue -the same delay my vendor was telling me -, if Morrie's statement is true, then there is a possibility that most orders will not take the full 14 days to ship.**

    4. Purchasing starts tomorrow, and once the paid order of a minimum 20 come thru, he will contact BAK and save a production slot for our order, per se.

Purchasing will be done via paypal the following manner:

I will send you instructions via PM on what information to include when you email the vendor and request an invoice.

I will provide the WEBSITE of the vendor so you can visit it and see who they are.

The vendor did this same group buy:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...over-group-buy-tacomas-tundras-closed.399120/

So you have an idea that they shipped all products and everyone was happy.

You are more than welcome to call the vendor for any more information, if needed.
