Yea it will look a little weird. People still do it though. But if anything, it'll encourage you to get tires sooner rather than later :D

I can show up to lend a hand. I'll take my bike to save a spot for a truck. I can bring hand tools or jack stands if we need more.

with the date of this mod day I may have a few lights to wire up and then rewire all my lights to make em pretty.
But that is all easy so I can help others with their wiring if needed. Should be a good fun day! As previously said if you want to do a potluck or something for chow hen Id be more then happy to help.

I'm in as well. I want to swap springs on my coilovers. Besides a spring compressor, do I need any other specialized tools?

I volunteer to stand far away with a beer.... I just helped a buddy do the springs on his jeep. Felt sketchy the whole time.

I've heard the same thing which is why I'd rather do it around people that know more about the process than I do. How long did it take you and your buddy to do the swap?

We lifted the whole jeep. New shocks, new coils, new arms, new bump stops, and brake lines. Took all day.

It really depends on what kind of spring compressor @tacomgee has. I've seen some really nice ones that are pretty legit and safe. We used to use a wall mounted ones at the mod days like 5-6 years ago.

I've used some of those crappy AutoZone rentals which was pretty sketch, but did the job. With air tools it goes by faster

Its a nice one. Has a mounting plate that can be used on a trailer hitch or clamped to a bench or whatever. Just swapped coils on @Bentrodder truck last weekend. Worked like a charm.image.jpg

This spring compressor kicks ass. By far the best one I have ever used.

Sweet! I've got hand tools, impact, drill, jack stands, and beer. Hopefully the weather isn't too bad. I have some EZups I can bring if it's raining.

Is it fucked up to admit I have a chub?
