I bought a 2008 DCSB Tacoma in 2014 and signed up here shortly afterwards. Then this happened in December of 2014....

    2008(3).jpg

You could barely even tell it was ever a truck. It looked like a crossover that had been rolled over. The windshield came in and hit me in the forehead, and I got 48 or 50 stitches put in it to put me back together.

I paid cash for a 1995 F150 and drove it for about a year, but then the water pump went out on it one day and I missed work. Within a week, this beauty was mine...

Hopefully I keep this one top-side up long enough to do some customization to it and put 2 or 3 hundred thousand miles on it. It's a 2011.

Moral of the story: If you get smacked in the forehead a little too hard, you'll end up driving a Ford.

Welcome back! Glad to see that the concussion has finally worn off.

This is one thing I'm not impressed with on the Tacoma.

Over a year later. My girlfriend is a nurse, and took great care of me. And I might have a little Wolverine genes in me.
