Little porn with the new tires for you fellas....definitely going to have to put a body lift on. No rubbing with daily driving but a little with flexing

Not going trail? I guess ATRAC can functionally replace a locker...

Love the scoop on my tacoma. Don't like it as much on the runners.

I've heard that KDSS is a bitch when you are lifting the truck. I'd rather get a little less and a better deal.

Your taco build was sweet for sure... I liked seeing the different stages of the build. You should be happy with the 4runner, imo the build quality is better and there is a lot more isolation from the road. I really noticed between my 1st gen taco and my 3rd gen T4R

looks like the A arm has to come off.

I miss driving a truck sometimes. I want to get an old 22re powered extended cab. just for around town.

Thanks! It was fun for me too. I liked that I could look back on the stage when I was gonna keep the exterior stock and have a simple lift. Then I caught the armor bug and went nuts. Still planned on redoing the suspension but think I don't want to put a bunch more money into a rig that I don't plan on having too much longer.

I get why people take them off, I just do 99% city driving in Los Angeles so I can't justify taking it off. Quick disconnects, I can easily justify.

I wish I went off road that much. I have been lately which is nice but I'll be swamped once I start working at KPMG.

Lifting a 3rd gen is soooo easy. lol

The KDSS mounts to the sway bar where there would ordinarly be a rubber bushing. Looks like there is some sort of hydraulic system you have to first relieve pressure before attemping to take the sway bar off. Hence removing the A arm.

Yeah, I am not terribly upset, because for me to go up there would be $60. I have no kickout though. hmm.

I really want an old pickup. haha

Sway bars are nice for tight mountain roads at high speeds... lol

Still not a bad deal at all. I had an 88 P/U and it was a lot of fun, I enjoyed it. But if I got a truck I wouldn't mind the 1st Gen 4 banger Taco.

So a few questions for people with '14+

Anybody done a retrofit? Not busting the light open, but installing HID's in the factory projectors. I want some better light output.

Also, after a lift and 285s, is there an equivalent to the CMC on a tacoma?
