    :eek: That design is aweful. Doesn't allow articulation.
    Which is where the Caltracs excel.

    With a flip kit, the axle plate would essentially be the same as mine. The XR plate. Since I have a "flip kit."

    To reduce the noise, the heim joints could be upgraded to Teflon lined joints instead.

    For those who don't notice wheel hop, something about your leaf springs has changed. Either upgraded aftermarket ones,or updated factory ones because of year model. The early models had extremely soft leaf springs. '05-'08. The slightest terrain change could cause them to warp and undulate,when under acceleration. Swapping to XR leaf springs, took out a MASSIVE amount of wheel hop. The Caltracs did the rest. Before and after.

    I think mos of my noise is actually coming from the rocker-plates themselves rattling against the leaf mounts. Its something i will probably mess around with this summer.

    Those bars compltely changed the feel of the truck, usually i wouldnt be so agressive in promoting stuff but the caltracs and the spec-u headers are some top dog parts that every performance oriented tacoma owner should get.

    @Rock Lobster , This might be a question better suited for the 3rd gen section, but how much axle flip kit can you use and still run 33s? And if not, how much trimming or back spacing will it take to get your mpgs back up to 30?

    You obviously missed the humor in the joke. The point was because for the last few months Rock Lobster and many others have been fending off ridiculous questions such as that when talking in a forum that was once seemingly normal.

    Also i have provided plenty of discussion and advice to this thread for people with the trd superchargers and others, in the form of supporting mods. It doesnt matter what the title says.
