It is about 10 degrees warmer in the dairy section. This is not a fridge/freezer. It is a fridge or freezer. Yes depending on how you pack, like all fridges like this, the stuff on top can be a bit warmer.

Because of Duty, Taxes, Personal Limits and all that fun stuff at the border the only legit way is to drive across the border and pick up the fridge yourself.

I'm lucky enough that I live less than an hour away from the border. I get all of the things I ordered from the states shipped to Blaine, Washington. I use a place called "Mail Boxes International". They accept deliveries from FedEx, DHL, USPS, and all Freight Carriers. Their rates are very reasonable. Getting this fridge shipped to them so I can go down and pick it up is only going to cost me $5 in receiving fees.

Regarding post above a bit that I make up "crap"..............I just plain do not do that. At least do not and post it.
See the yellow area in this Truckfridge site: http://truckfridge.com/store/page6.html

And I know that .45 JHP is correct that this price of $599 for the TF51 has been in effect way before the GB. I know this because I was looking into refrigerators for about a year now. I do not really know why I suggested that they changed the price for marketing reasons. And as others have said, I would not wait either as this GB is a price not to be beat for some time.

I modified the Smittybilt cover today. Very easy to do. I have to get some fabric tape to make the exterior look better. Other than that I'm happy. You can spend $105 on the Ironman Cover from Sierra Expeditions if you want an exact cover with a window or do a simple mod like this.

I used a sharp pen blade to cut the material. It was very easy to slice. I tried to match the curves of the gauge cluster. I would recommend just cutting a rectangle instead to make sealing the seams easier. I used Foil tape called 324A cold weather tape. It's for AC duct work. Thick and easy to work with. The top of the lid is crappy electrical tape for now. As soon as I acquire some fabric tape I will change it. I may also glue the seams. The plastic for the window came from a product bag that I had. Thick clear plastic.

This is a silly post. I just want to convey that it is easy to put a window in the cover. So for $40 and some scrap material I can now see the controls.

Is the cover one piece or is the lid part completely detachable?

It's all one piece but you could take a seam ripper and separate the top and bottom halls pretty easily. The pictures show the seam that would need to be removed. After creating the window I decided it made sense to keep it all together.

Excellent, mine is actually at the office, was delivered today. So I guess thats one more thing that'll need to be customized when I switch the lid situation. But the cover should be the easy part. :D

Let's hope FedEx actually takes care of this item when it ships. Don't always have the greatest luck with them... Haha

Get the blues seas 12v socket. Put it in the bed and wire power and ground from the battery. Inline fuse for the power wire and viola
