    Interested in this gb, but overwhelmed by the choices. Anybody know if the G2, F1 or roll bak works with the bed extender? I don't know if the rails will be in the way or not.

    The slam latch at the tailgate was an issue in the first gen rollX that Bak addessed. The new designa apears inline with their initial fix....but no definatley yes/no on if it actually does.

    For the trifold there's no slam latch that would obstruct the operation of a bed extender. The tie down rails move down two inches and I can't see how they could affect the extender movement.

    Just fyi for all of you buying this topper. I hate mine, had it for 5 years now. Getting rid of it and buying a fiberglass cap. I live in the Chicagoland area so hail is prevelent. Its dented to shit, also got hit with a golf ball and dented. My seals are weather beaten, my truck most is parked in garage, they are cracked and it now leaks.

    If you plan on hauling anything, make sure you tie the sections down. My last section wasnt tied down and the wind flipped it up slamming it shut. Well it broke my last panel. I did fix it with taking it apart and putting plywood in it which made it a lot stronger.

    I am disappointed with it. I thought it would have lasted for more than 5 years. This is my 2 cents.
