This can be done with a standard screw type regulator. It will also purge the low pressure side down to the set pressure... So you plug in all four tires, dial it down to your pressure, and wait for it to stop hissing.

 

Ouch... Double punch on the rims and my sport's hood scoop lol. I really like the style of the sr8s, but, to be fair, I did look at the 6s for a long time. Post a pic whenever you mount them. I would love to see them on.

 

Anyone been up jacks pass off highway 2? Got a few buddies that are wanting to go there next weekend.

 

Where off 2 is it? I've been on most of those roads but don't recognize it by name

If it's Beckler road I've been up all those roads. They added a gate 2 years ago at my favorite spot, which sucks but still plenty of views before it. If you can find a fs number then I'll be able to tell you where it goes. But the main fs road is really long with plenty of snow in the winter

 

If its where I'm looking/thinking, first left after the town of skykomish, I did a bunch of road reconstruction and culvert replacement up there for USFS. Some steep ground and I was driving a 6wd 40ton articulating haul truck up there one summer.

 

Yup that's beckler road. Tons of fs roads take off from the main road up there

 

Is that the road that goes to sanjuan/troublesome creek camp grounds?

 

Probably. Last time I was back there there were a bunch of horse trailers and there is a boyscout camp too I think

 

I went up Beckler Rd with the guys at Tor Fab earlier this winter in search of snow. Nothing more than a dusting was found. We tried to avoid doubling back and found a BIG mud slide that washed away large chunks of paved road along a river and camp ground of sorts. I started to drive over it (road was closed, but I just had to see) but quickly radioed for everyone to turn the F around after I saw some of the holes up close.

Sketchy as hell. It's almost like they closed the road for a reason.

 

That's probably the route I would go. I was just thinking as automated as possible with the solenoids. These setups would be on thing you could do a ton of different ways

 

I'm gonna piece something together today... Need an air tank. Anyone know of a truck wrecking yard?

My dad is the CEO of Haney truck lines i'll see what they have laying around there shop, or if knows of any big rig specific wrecking yards in Western WA.
