Don't mean to jack the thread here, but I am in a similar situation. The dealer jacked up my wheels doing my first service and well to make a long story short I am getting the black trd trail team wheels. I got 4k miles on my bfg rugged trails, but the advice thats been given to me is run them till I got to get new tires. My options are to pony up and buy new tires which I would get the bfg all terrains and sell my my old wheels and tires or I can just swap out the rugged trails on the new wheels and do whatever with my old wheels. From what I have read on here the rugged trails aren't popular. Any advice or suggestions is much appreciated?

3 inch lift with Toytec Boss and All Pro UCA's up front. AP expedition leafs with Bilstien 5100 shocks in the back. 255/85/16 Cooper S/T Max tires. All Pro skids, rear bumper and sliders, Hidden winch mount with XRC 8000 winch. Dual Optima batteries with IBS combiner/isolator and solar. CMC. Auto sliding rear window mod, hidden CB, CVJ axles and plenty of other little mods.
Gotta agree here. I just switched from 265/75 to 255/85. Great tire size for a 3 inch lift.

I ended up going down to 265/75/16 BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2's and love them.
Needless to say I get better gas mileage and the ride is less "heavy".

    none yet
I walk on economical functionality and appearance so bigger isn't necessary better for me. Stock size tires that don't look like they belong in the wheel wells are not for me either. That's why life is quite a shitty balance for me ;) ;)
