Don't get stuck buying a non-California emissions vehicle unless it has 7500 miles or more when you buy it. The vin will get flagged and you won't be able to title/register in the state after that. I don't think you could buy it with under and by the time it gets to CA have more, if that will fly. In an emergency like breaking down or wrecking a vehicle and you need to buy another vehicle, the state may allow that. Ask.

Yes and I've driven more than that in a day solo. Twice I've driven from Phoenix to Abilene TX and made it in one shot both ways. Took about 12 to 13 hours

Why wouldn't we get a title in the mail if we purchased the vehicle? It's our vehicle, we get a title for it
All 2016 Tacomas are 50 state emissions. They will all pass SMOG in California. If they do not pass SMOG when you bring them back, you take it straight to any Toyota Dealership and they will fix it for you because something happened in the assembly process.

If you paid for it without financing you WILL get the title otherwise the financer keeps it.
