BAMF 3rd Gen Recessed Raptor Style Grille

I won't have those until next week as our blast room in down for maintenance so we can't powder coat until next week. I think the black grille with white backed letters will look great storm trooper!

 

As pictures are unavailable and you are getting a lot of questions, would the all black on a MGM be a good choice?

How much does the grill weigh?

Can you possibly draw lines to the locations of the pictures you took to show the options of where the color would or would not be?
Just a helpful thought

 

The MGM on black would be noticeable slightly but have just enough contrast to make the letters pop. The grille is just over 10lbs

Is what I'm going to do is spray this prototype with rattle can bed liner that has the same look and texture as our mini texture powder and the backing plate in white to show everyone how it will look with the back plate installed. I'm only doing white as a reference because it gives the most contrast.

 

Good idea. Looking forward to seeing it. I think that should clarify things for the people that haven't followed this whole thread.

 

I can't wait to see it! I'm sure it will look good it's just hard for me to visualize what it will look like painted and installed.

I'm painting this one today to please the masses! it will be all black with the letter backing plate white.

 

I think you will have more orders flowing in once the masses sees these new pictures!

Just want to make sure I'm not adding color to it.

 

It's painted just drying now in a few hours I'll post some pics.

 

Okay here is the prototype painted to just about what the powder would look like. The back plate is painted white to show you what it would look like when you receive it with the color matched back plate. The pack plate is about .150" behind the letters to add just a little more contrast/ dimension.
As well as the standard Stainless steel bolts are shown. They can be black if you choose that option.





So we have had a few people ask if the silver surround is included it is not this is just for mock up pictures and fitting the prototype. What you will receive is below only if you choose the color matched option with the back plate be color matched. The standard is black if that option is not selected.

If the whole grille option is selected this entire part will be color matched to the color you select.



I hope this clears up the questions.

 

color looks a bit off since its placed in a silver grille surround but once in a color matched surround itll be really clean.

 

Hopefully someone will step up and photoshop this on a front end. Grill is looking great!
