It's super fun! Really easy, don't even touch my sliders I don't think. If you have a lift you'll be golden. Let me know I wouldn't mind going camping in a few weeks

Only lift I got is the stock 1" lift that the 3rd gen comes with over the 2nd gen, which iis fine for Trey.

Will do, GF wants to go before Gulches just to make sure every things in line.

Have to look for some more easy trails to hit for you too. Wouldn't want to go all the way up there for a day. We could hit Charlies Creek too. Maybe check out some other stuff. We'll have to make a thread in the Ga section and see if anybody else wants in/other trails

    Has anyone been
Have you been up/down chimney rock in the last few weeks? I bailed out a couple of weeks ago. There was a section just down the hill from the big camping area that looked to sketchy for me. Maybe I'm just a wuss with my new truck. I might have been braver if I wasn't by myself

I'd go a 2 night/2 day thing. Head up Friday evening and camp and hit trails through Sunday morning/afternoon

Not since the beginning of November. But I know a bunch of people went up last weekend with the snow. You being a 2016 and not wanting to scratch it up makes sense.

I should be good for that. Just depends on how busy school is. In the next few days you or I should post a new thread in the Ga section and see if anybody else wants to come out

I'm planning on going up there Sunday morning. Parking at the top and hiking some on the AT.

Believe it or not there is still a lot of snow up there. Chimney mountain road was muddy as hell. I left my away bars connected, and wish I hadn't. Front skid and exhaust tip got a little banged up. Went up at night and didn't have a spotter. My girlfriend wasn't up to playing that role. lol Got a few pinstripes, but overall had a great time!

I checked out Charlie's Creek today on my way home from South Carolina and it is not smoothed over anymore! I think with all the rain and snow, things got washed out pretty good. I might be back up there Feb. 13 -16 if anyone wants to meet up one of those days.
