If people think he was soooooo dazed as to not see a person directly in his path, how could you possibly think he would be well enough to be skating back to the bench perfectly fine...

Not to mention he then pretends like nothing happens and heads to the bench without even looking to see if the ref is okay.. Which is what you would probably do if you legitimately hit a ref on accident.

 

Yup but didn't get expelled from the league. A guy has to make enough money to pay for all those legal bills.

Had it been on a preds player then yeah, he likely would've taken a penalty and life goes on, but hitting a ref like that changed things big time.

As someone who's been knocked unconscious multiple times skiing, even when I've been totally out when I came to I recognized people around me and could ski to the bottom of the mountain on my own accord. So sure you might be a little hazy, but not to the point that people are trying to imply.
