Has anyone used rustoleum's Flexidip? It's the Plastidip knockoff sold at homedepot. Planning on picking up their glossifier since they don't have the Plastidip version in stock.

That's the same thing that happened to me at Home Depot, so I used it (Rust-Oleum's glossifier) on my rims on top of plastidip. It worked the same. The next day I went to Walmart for something else and saw the plastidip glossifier there. I didn't even know Walmart carried plastidip️

I want to try to plasti dip my chrome bumper pieces black to match my truck. Anybody got any close ups of how it would look? Will the glossifier match close to the clearcoat?

I've been wanting to dip my emblems but it's been cold as crap. That and I'm not sure how I'm gonna go about taping it off on the truck

Its really easy bud. Just tape around the emblem with a half inch gap around, Add about 4 coats and peel away. Tons of videos on youtube!

Make sure the plastidip isnt cold as it will blotch like crazy. I would bring them in the house the day before kncoking it out

Looks great! Looks like they match your nerf bars well. I was hoping I could get mine closer to black than grey. Is it just the light in the pic making them look grey or is that what you were going for? I've never plasti dipped before so I don't even know if it's possible to get them black.

They got a little darker than that, and yes I like the fact that they matched the nerf bars and I was going to paint the gray part of the front number but when I dipped the back I like how the truck had great mixed in it. All my emblems are gunmetal metallic and it goes well with them

I think the gloss clear rustoleum brand dip is way better than glossifier. I used the clear on the grill in front after I painted it. The dip holds up to rock chips better than paint

Looks great bro! I'm not a fan of the color red but it really pops on that black! I will be dipping my grille this weekend and dipping the emblem white to match the truck.

Sorry guys, question here..?? WTF is "derp" ...????
And when you say you "dipped" your stuff.... you mean you sprayed it (not dipped in) "plasti-dip"...correct?....

This DERP thing has me wondering...!!
