Okay guys, I have an 06 Toyota Tacoma prerunner TRD. I recently noticed, that my driver side rear tire is losing air. I did an inspection on it while it was on the vehicle, and found no problems. Earlier today January 29th, after walking out of a store, I realize that I had a tear in a side wall of my tire, when I got home I decided to take it off. After removing all the lug nuts and jacking it up, I grabbed the tire to pull it off of the hub, and its not coming off. I looked online at a couple places, and found different ways to possibly get a stuck tire off. And after trying all of them it hasn't helped. So I decided to come back to Tacoma world and be amongst my people. To try to get some insight, or help, on how to take off my tire. This is the first time I'll be taking off the tire on this truck in particular. It's actually the first time I've had it off had any time off this vehicle since I got it two years ago. And, but being so busy with work and school I have found no time.

Screw on a lug nut a couple of turns, get a BFH and smack the inner sidewall.

One can never have too many light bars.
maybe a little pb blaster and let it sit for an hour. If its really being stubborn paying a tire shop 20 bucks to pull and patch it might not be a bad idea.

Had a friend recently try that, with no success. He then gently nudged the tire against a curb, and that did it.

    Too many to list
Strap a 2x4 to it so your not hitting the rim directly and then beat the hell out of it with a BFH.

Ok good cause my next suggestion was to firmly place 1-2 pounds of C4 explosive around the hub as close to the wheel as you could and put a charge to it and that should get the wheel off without scratching it little known fact C4 is very unabrasive. :goingcrazy:
