Why 2" 1.75 is more then Enough for 35s. 1.5" would be best I think.

Don't give me ideas!! Needs to stay 'cheap', reliable, and relatively unmolested. Already way down one rabbit hole I will never escape from. :luvya:

It's temoting. But the need for at least a 1"BL kills it for me.

Between this, leaky gaskets, loose or missing bolts, clogged EGR system, etc... I'm kinda surprised this thing was still running.

    22R. ;)

And who needs block-off plates for the EGR? That shit blocks itself!

While I'm at it (of course), I'm attempting to delete the emissions crap without the LCE kit. I'm almost done and it seems like $100 of the LCE kit isn't needed anyway.

Haven't sold the Honda yet. :anonymous:

I was planning on getting the garage insulated to have a warm place to repaint the Honda's bumpers (seems to been in a fender bender that I wasn't told about and they half-assed the paint job and it's been peeling off). By the time I finished the garage, I realized I was better off keeping the Honda until I fully rebuild the '81s engine and repaint the truck.

Fucker. :luvya: I didn't drain the block before I removed the BVSV and coolant started pouring out and down the intake manifold. :anonymous:

The head gasket replacement and emissions delete was a success. However I'm still having carb issues. Before when I'd let off the gas and put it in neutral, the RPMs would drop dead. From what I could find, it was potentially a faulty fuel cut-off solenoid. I swapped in the solenoid from the spare carb and everything seemed to be working ok, until I turned off the ignition and the engine would sputter/diesel to a stop. WTF
