What color looks best on MGM?

 

I recommend the 'wet' install method. This is fully documented in the instructions I provide and allow you to position the decals before they fully adhere to the tailgate. Once the water is pushed out and the decals adhere to the tailgate they cannot be removed without destroying them.

 

I like silver metallic for a look that pops, or matte black for a more subtle look. The reflective black has a satin to gloss finish and really pops at night!

Rrentrop you told me you dont have reflective silver ,do you have relective white ?

Sorry, but I don't have reflective white either. To make it worthwhile for me I only buy colors that are popular. If there is enough demand for it, I can definitely get the reflective white.

I tried to mask the letters real well and use plastidip. worked. but didn't look flawless

 

I got the new black reflective letters in today. I heated up the original ones with a hair dryer and they peeled right off. The new ones are glossy, so a little more care when installing them is required because imperfections are much easier to see. These were harder to align but quicker to install. The original ones were thinner and hard to get off of the backing paper because the cutting knife went a little too deep. These were a piece of cake to peel off of the backing paper. I used a little soapy water and had them installed in about ten minutes.

Does anyone know if there's any potential legal concerns with a reflective decal? I might be digging into something that doesn't exist, but I'd be curious if anyone knows of any laws that prohibit this either in my home state or Oregon, or elsewhere for reference. I'll definitely be buying black, reflective black, or silver for a BBP Tacoma soon.

Hmm....not sure but i figure if license plates are reflective, this wouldn't be a problem either.

 

someone please do white reflective on a white truck! might be cool to not see it during the day but have a treat at night!
