with the front being the same height (since you only raised the rear) you dont feel angled downward at all?

I dont, it actually feels level at this point. You could always just remove the bolt and prop the seat up just to check and see if you like it. Pretty simple to do.

soooo what about the guys that want to lower the seat. My friend has a 2015 4Runner with power seats and you can set them nice and low.

Somtimes i feel like I have to duck under the tint on the top of my window to actually see whats ahead of me!

Hey guys I just wanna let you all know that this kit works for the 2016. I picked mine up yesterday and switch over the seat raise kit. Worked great. Here's a couple pics.

How does it feel? I just noticed the kit only raiser the back. Do you feel taller in the cab? Do you feel like your gonna slide off?

Yes it just raises the back of the seat. The seat is already pitched up towards and even with the spacer, it still doesn't level out the seat.. It's still slightly pitched up, so you don't slide forward or anything. Because it's not lifting the whole seat, I feel like you don't gain the whole inch, but it is a noticeable height increase. I'm 5"7 and now like 2-3" from the cab ceiling. The visibility is better for someone my height, any taller will be cutting it close. Hope this helps!

The longer bolts they give you with the kit are very solid. I cranked them down good. Not too sure exactly but if it's a bad enough accident where it would rip the bolts out of the floor, sounds like I'm pretty f#%ked anyway.

Can you post a side view of the seat with both doors open.... Before and after if you have it. I just think it would help out to see the angle difference.

At 5'9" with 31" inseam, I couldn't seem to find perfect seating position in 2016. I was either too close to pedals or too far from steering wheel regardless of wheel adjustment. So, I bought the 1" lift to try and it has solved my problem for a total of $16. No problem with seat belts and it's nice to have slightly better visibility over the higher hood (compared to my 1st gen Taco and 2nd gen 4Runner.) Thanks for the thread!

just ordered mine as well im same as one other post, 5'9" and 31inseam so im sure this outta help me sit up a bit higher and give that added visibility over the head. Personally it just feels better to me to be higher up in my seat so this outta do the trick.

I'm with this guy, I would like to lower the seat about 2 inches. My fricken head is almost rubbing the headliner because of the moon roof. If anyone out there knows of a seat lowering mod or any custom aftermarket options please share. If the '17 taco has power seat height adjustment hopefully they will bolt up to the the '16

The 16 limited came with a height adjustment I think. I have also herd that trucks with moon roofs do. There may be a bracket or seat you can use stock. IDK. I am 6'4" so I don't need up.

No seat height adjustment on any Tacoma, ever.
