I'm bringing my SWR meter and my multimeter. Tuned @johnnytaco23's this afternoon and found the problem he had with the multimeter (the stud was shorted to ground). @Timbo89 and @allenfab are wanting theirs done as well.

Wow, we're developing quite a queue. :D No problem, fellers. Hopefully there won't be too much trouble shooting and we can get them knocked out quickly. :fingerscrossed:

The situation, which has been previously mentioned, is thus: we currently have about 50+ trucks on the camping list. The Holder Mine Campground only has about 15-20 RV sites and there's no guarantee we will have the campground to or selves. Those of us going early are going to try to spread out as much as possible to to occupy as many RV sites as possible. Those of you coming later might want to try to buddy up with an early arrival to share a site. I'll start with the folks I know off the top of my head will be there early. Just cut and paste the lists into a new post and add yourself on your preferred spot. I think @michaelrussell and @Alfuh will be there early, but I'm not positive.

This is mainly to see how many we are going to have to divide between us. The other types of groups, aka: the ones that want to avoid the tight trails and pin striping are kinda on their own at the momentsince nobody has stepped forward to lead them.

Okay. We'll give it a shot anyway. Does it look like a firestik? The cap on my old 2' FSII welds itself onto the antenna. I usually have to take a small screw driver or a small awl and loosen it up before I got out to tune it. If Wes can get the cap off, it'll be pretty obvious if we can tune it or not. ;)

Haha, there was a guy out there last year, I forget his name, but he had a 1st Gen DC Prerunner...anyway, he brought the Tent Version of the Taj Mahal as well. :D

    o_O

You guys better get yer chit together and get crackin' on that then.

    ---

So I was operating at full throttle this morning. I got out there and shoveled out the dirt the City so courteously washed into my driveway, then I dug out the flower bed by the sidewalk down about a foot and a half to get rid of all the little oak tree suckers that like to grow there and to lower it a bit in preparation for some gravel. I took the excess dirt and filled in some low spots in the yard. Then I mowed the grass...or the weeds and oak tree suckers rather since the grass is dormant right now. After that I blew off the driveway. And finally, I had a couple of bad bolts on the OGT's hitch. I removed those (the visegrips worked, Frank. I couldn't believe it. I've never had them actually work in that situation before) and installed some new grade 8 bolts in it, bringing the hitch back to 100%. Then I reorganized my tool box and loaded all the tools back up in case of trail repairs.

The OGT is as ready as she's gonna get. Just have to load her up and roll out. :woot:
