Its a nice drive up there. Never been to table rock either. I'm gonna find somewhere to wander Sunday morning with the truck. Maybe call in the morning to confirm. Maybe the website isn't updated regularly?

I can't imagine them closing the lookout. I can see trails being closed though. The lookout was awesome, even on an overcast day.

Yeah. I don't see why not. Let me check with Waze though. Lots of windy roads up the mountainside. Beautiful drive though, I took the top off the Jeep for the ride up.

I know. You're kinda new still.

Rich has an impressive driving simulation setup. Not sure if anyone is allowed to drive.

Ive had a couple people try it and they find it very difficult. Comparing the feeling to ocean sickness. I find it very relaxing and very natural.
My grandmother, who is 92 actually made it 3/4 of the way around Silverstone international. Albeit...at only 5-10mph.

I used to ride my R1 up 178 quite a bit and up to cesars head, table rock.
Hiked to the top of table rock with my buddy Mike a few years back.
Here are a few pictures of Camp greenville. (pretty place to the locals) If you guys have never
been there, personally I think its a way better view than cesars head. Its just down over the mountain on the right
    before you get into NC.

Heres the pic I was looking for. Me and mike on top of table rock.
Its a 3 hr hike to the top and you can see cesars head state
    Park next to my elbow.

I almost want to drive up today but I'm supposed to look at a place tomorrow. Ugh! I can't wait to be settled in as a resident. I guess I should go ahead and pay my truck taxes before I get up there. Le sigh.

Take off. Lots to explore. You could call the tax assessor's office with your vin and tentative new address, and they should be able to give you a tax quote.

Oooh, I'll check into that next week. I was wondering if it'll be cheaper up yonder.

Im on the tail end of the sinus infection, I'm trying to rest and stay home today, as tomorrow will likely be a long day all over the upstate and I've skipped cleaning house all week due to being sick. Naps and cleaning will consume my Saturday.
