They are an eye nut screwed onto a carriage bolt that is captive in the tracks.

Just ordered a Toprac 5' bed for my ABS tonneau cover. Has anyone mounted one of zach's racks to a tonneau cover using Thule/yakima tracks or something else as a track system? Maybe Aluminum extrusion with T-slot? Similar to what Zach uses for crossbars but smaller. like 1"x 1" or 1" x .5" . I have searched but have not found anyone that has done this.

    Zach,

Not sure if you can answer this question or have already answered it before, but do you happen to know the minimum distance between the top of the Caprac crossbars and the top of the topper roof? I ask because I'm interested in seeing if I can get a camping table mounted on the underside of the rack to conserve space on top for other goodies.

Each cap is going to vary, but mine only has 1.75" of space in the middle of the cap.

Thanks fellas. Perhaps I'll have to abandon that idea and instead just strap a roll top table to the rack. Would have been rather handy if that would have been the case!

They are 200 watts (5 watts per bulb, 40 bulbs on the 40") so assuming a steady 12 volts the amp draw is about 16.67 amps.

What ever happened with this group buy? If there is still interest in it throw me down. Been looking at these for awhile and ready to pull the trigger, they look great, just not sure if my pockets have that much left to give.

Has anyone mounted a shirt box toprac to a long box topper? Or I should ask what are the lengths on the short and long box topracs?

Hey Zach, how do I get my hands on a pair of those heretic light bar mounts? I bought my bar before they were offered!

Got the rack today! Hopefully the weather will behave and allow me to install it this weekend! Really wishing I had seen the eye nuts at the time of order though. It was probably my mind telling me not to go browsing the website more so I don't spend more... :D
