Lets Petition COSTCO!

I know that many of you, like myself, prefer, for various reasons, to perform your own oil and filter services. As we all know, COSTCO still doesn't carry Mobil 1 in the 0W-20 weight. I have made several requests to its customer service department to begin stocking this item at warehouse locations, but have had no success. I believe that with the number of Tacoma World DIYers, their management personnel might be more inclined to listen, if we join together as a group. In that respect, I invite all interested members to please send a short message to COSTCO at their "contact us" e-mail address, and see if we can make a difference. Bennett707, I apologize if my message were unclear, and I did not intend it as any kind of protest. Perhaps, you were thinking that my message was to encourage COSTCO to begin providing oil change services. I am only requesting group participation in asking them to begin stocking a specific item at warehouse location. Again, sorry to all if my message inadvertently caused any confusion.

 

They Stock it here in little ole Myrtle Beach,. I was at Costco yesterday to pick up a few things and went to look at their Marine Batteries.....I saw BOTH Mobil 1 weights. Surprised to see 0-20 $26 So maybe your petition will work since they are already carrying the product..

Also perused into the tire Store........Should have stayed out of there...

This forum is fantastic, and I've learned so much from all the knowledgeable and unselfish members who so willingly share their thoughts and ideas. If only our politicians worked together so well...

 

IMHO, if you have a Costco to shop at, there have to be other discount retailers nearby....so they don't carry it, shop somewhere else....BTW, Costco is NOT always a price leader, been there before....

 

You're absolutely right, bldegke2; Walmart is quite competitive. However, I prefer to patronize COSTCO as much as possible, because they have been the absolute leader in my area, when it comes to keeping gas prices low. I like to reward that kind of business with my patronage, as much as possible.

 

What I love Costco for is Saturday lunch shopping, there are so many freebie samples you can score a free meal wilst shopping for whatever other thangs....,

 

I love going to Costco when the grazing is good. Someone who works there told me they never buy lunch.

Generally go to Costco or Walmart for oil. Right now Walmart has Pennzoil 0w-20 for $22.65. Seems to me, they periodically have Mobil on sale too.
