Might have an opportunity to work with a local fab shop on producing some winch mount options. What we are looking at is removing the aluminum inner bumper and replacing it with steel. the lower bumper facia would be replaced as well and incorporate a skid plate. The majority of the stock bumper would be left alone.

Is this something yall would be interested in? Any input would be appreciated as well.

Disclaimer: I am not connected in anyway to this fab shop. Just want to see some more product being put out for the gen3s. I have the truck and they have the tools.

This has been done already. Are you looking to fab up for a third gen?

I would be interested in what it looks like. What kind of winches are you basing your measurements from?

Measurements will be based off a warn m8000, but will have wiggle room to accommodate others.

This is what we are planning. The black piece of the "bubba lip" will be replaced and incorporate a skid plate

I like where your headed with skid plate idea. But Pelfrey has a solution.

How much does the general public here mind cutting factory pieces? One of the reasons we were discussing the skid plate idea was so that none of the factory plastic would be cut allowing you to go back to stock if wanted.

That would look better if they would have just painted it black instead of the metal cover they left it. That was it matches all of the factory color schemes. I think this would look terrible on my BBP but if it was black that would be a different opinion.

its my opinion, like an asshole everyone has one...
