Just bought my first Tacoma from a guy near the Arkansas/Missouri border. I've replaced the wheel setup for the Colorado snow.

Before: 325 60 18 Kumhos on Helo wheels
    [IMG]
After: 285 70 17 BFG A/Ts on American Racing Matte Black Tactics
    [IMG]

    Which do you like better?

First of all welcome to TW...and secondly I prefer the second. That's the same direction that I'm going with mine. Haven't decided on the rims yet but definitely going with the BFG A/Ts. As far as I'm concerned you've definitely made an improvement on the truck!

    Welcome!

What's so odd about running 33's? His new tires are 33's as well... Or is it the width you are questioning?

^ rubbing on UCAs, body mounts etc. Basically he mentioned it in such a nonchalant manner that I was caught off guard as to what other mod's he had to do ie wheel backspacing etc

There is a 2 or 3 inch spacer, but nothing other than that. They rubbed a little and I was lucky if I got 10 mpg across Kansas. I thought they looked a little obnoxious.
