Dude...I think that looks awesome!! I saw another 4Runner the other day that had the mountains across the whole bottom. It looked good, but it didn't have the "TRD". That "TRD" really sets it off!! I think yours look a lot better!!

I've been thinking of putting something on rocker panels. Anybody have any suggestions??

Hey guys. Just got off the phone with the buyer of my truck. He's flying in on Saturday from Oregon to buy the truck. Things are moving!

Hey @RedRunner87, I see that you installed an e-locker. How hard was that in relation to an air locker?

I'm always surprised when people fly out of state to purchase a used vehicle. Mine is in great shape, but most aren't.

Maybe I just don't trust people. haha I think he plans to use it as a trail rig because the door dings didn't bother him in the slightest.

And the risk that the photos were a lie!

That's one of the reasons I like having the build thread even when my truck didn't have much on it. I could easily show the owner that the truck was well taken care of.

Imagine how I felt buying the Firebird. I was in phoenix while the car was in Temecula and my parents were the ones that went and checked it out. I payed for it but they didnt tell me it was ok until after they bought it so i was completely in the dark

Not sure I'd be comfortable buying a car sight unseen...too many crooks out there these days. I like to crawl around it and check things out before committing

I took a bus from NorCal to LA for my Tundra but thankfully it worked out. The truck was immaculate and has been great since but I definitely would have been pissed to come home empty handed.

I need to do this #goals

I need to wheel in the snow..

You should see my build thread. I have wayyy too many pictures of my write-ups. I document every mod.

    HOW? dude..

I love those pics of yours. I think making a build thread is unique to everyone..some just have a photo dump. Others are organized like mademan's
Mine is a bunch of writeups

how did they end up there? chillin at the beach and the tide snuck up on them?

I always thought the same. that's why I never had a build thread for my 2013. All you have to do is start one. Talk about your achievements, errors, mods, what you learn, and include lots of photos.

People will come, follow and ask.

Congrats! Are you getting what you were asking?

    Lol..that never stopped me.

There is a guy with a 3rd gen 4runner that painted his 4runner Quicksand. Even bought the paint from the dealer.. looks really good.

    Looks great man!

How did he find you? On here?

Has he told you what he plans to do with it?

I almost flew out to Colorado or California when I was shipping for my 3rd gen.

I've bought 2 car sight unseen. I just ask to see plenty of pictures...let them know I'm a police officer and if they rip me off...I'll hunt them down like the dog they are. During our conversation I'll ask them where they work. I call and verify their employment, then run a criminal history check and last have a local law enforcement officers stop by to say "Hi" and just spend a few minutes with them.

So far everything has worked out pretty well. Maybe I've just been getting luck??

Mine came with the E-Locker installed already. If would want to put an E-locker you would have to either swap axles or modify the diff. Congrats on selling the truck!
