Oh... The piece the crank position sensor picks up... OUCH!
You might be able to find the crank shaft pulley at a local salvage yard pretty cheap.
I believe the 1995 - 2000 use the same pulley. Not 100% certain...

I have aftermarkets skids on my truck, and they make a quick job take a fair bit longer.

Yep same here. Mine has a cut out for the drain, but the oil filter still spills oil all over the skid. So I just remove it to prevent having oil sit on my skid.

Badass truck man! How did you mount the 01-04 flares or did you just use the bolt holes in the fender well?

Thanks! They are actually 98-00 flares. They mount using only the same holes that the chrome trim used.

I also added tread tape to my sliders. I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to do this.

Yes tie it back to the frame.

There is room for tubing between the two bolts on the frame mount plate. That is if you're utlizing both...which you should be. It's a very common place for the tub to go. Can look at any bumper with side protection from the main shops to get a jist of the idea

I tied mine in pretty far forward, if your thinking about connecting to the sliders father forward would help. I did hoops on mine that protect tail lights and almost to the top of the bed and they are so worth it as in NE we have tight trails with trees. It's nice being able to turn around a tight tree in a single pass and let it drag over trees. I wasted my quarter panel once and decided it wouldn't happen again.

My bumper went through some serious evolution from a plain to wrapped, then hoops then tire carrier. Want to connect it to sliders but I can't seem to think of a good looking design. As long as you leave room for evolutions you can't go wrong.

Nahh, I just realized how stupid of an idea the teflon tape was. It isn't the threads that seal in a high pressure system, it's the beveled innards.

I don't even have a cut out for draining it so it takes a good half hour sometimes to take my skids off myself haha

My truck hasn't had skids on it for over 4 months....
It's a pain in the ass to put the front skid bolts in with the relentless bumper.
