Just want to get some good ideas from everyone, about what to do as far as a 3" lift with a good stance that will fit 285/75/16 tires. Thanks

This is a very quality lift for the money

If you need help understanding the drop down menus on that page let me know, I'll be happy to answer.

Also something to consider is wheels and tires. I see you are looking at running 285's. You will need either wheel spacers for your stock wheels, or aftermarket wheels. If you do not run aftermarket wheels or wheel spacers, you will have rubbing issues.

I was just looking at this kit also, but I am having an issue with choosing a uca, as of right now I'm leaning towards the total chaos. Any insight? Or ideas?

I highly recommend air bags for the rear. So versatile, and you can easily change the rear height. Even if you don't tow a trailer or carry a lot of heavy stuff, on the rare occasion that you do they are awesome.

I have no experience with anything but SPC UCA's. The only reason I bought the SPC's is because of price. I don't run my suspension that hard so the SPC's fit the bill. Mine have been great although alignment shops here don't understand their adjustability. Now that the price of the SPC UCA's are almost 500 dollars, I might look elsewhere. Having so much adjustability isn't always a good thing as it throws techs for a loop.

I have had no issues with them and the finish still looks brand new after a year. The ball joint and bushings are still tight like from factory. The roads here in PR are far shittier than the states so I would say they have experienced more than a truck in the states would have.

I you preset the balljoint on the LR UCA's all the tech hss to do is use the LCA alignment cams like in a normal alignment . They csn if desired , make further adjustments to camber and caster with the UCA

My original LR UCAs are 5 years old and covered in surface rust . Spray some Rust Cure Formula 3000 , Fluid Film or similar on them periodically

I heard @Unchained 5150 can get good deals on the SPC upper control arms. Might want to PM him. I put mine to the test and they take the abuse.

He will probably rub either way. The stock wheels can rub at full lock w/o wheel spacers and 285's. You add wheel spacers and increase the arc of the wheel and can rub on the body mount needing a cab mount chop. That's without wheeling it.

Same setting as OZ here and mine are going on 4 years old. No rust or problems at all out of them. Of course we don't have road salt here either.
