It's working out good. I'm going to have to clean up the tabs and holes a little to get the two pieces back together, but I think it's going to do fine. I'll get the other one and your white mesh to you soon.

 

Swap out the rubber piece with the bondo on it too. The one between the hood and the grille we talked about. Just use some needle nose pliers to pop out the rivets. Keep yours clean. You don't want my screw ups.

Next time I am going to try the thin lip Satoshi. I wanna see how I like that.

While you have it apart. Go ahead and move your horns and paint the radiator supports and everything else black. You will thank me later.

When you put it all back, that is all you will see. It drives me nuts right now. I am about to clean mine up (after a year or two of annoyingness)

I got the rubber piece clean, but I haven't checked my old one, yet. If it looks bad or split, I'll swap them out.

I plan on doing that, and already bought the paint. I don't know yet where I'm putting the horns, though. With the smaller mesh, the horns aren't as noticeable, but the silver is. I had absolutely no time to deal with that yesterday, too. Lol.
