Anyone know of a company that's going to make aftermarket fuel doors for the Tacoma seams like they do for every other truck and SUV?

Haven't seen one. Considering the 2nd gen has been around for 11 years already, I doubt we'll see one ever. Why do you want an aftermarket fuel door?

Just hate always having to WD 40 min and deal with its flimsy design

Instead of WD40, spray some white lithium grease on the hinges every oil change. Do the same with passenger doors and tailgate latches. It's the "lube" part of oil, lube, and filter.

I've never had to "lube" any fuel door on any vehicle I've owned including the taco. I guess I was just lucky. I've never heard of this.

Neither have I. Also if mine squeaks, I probably wouldn't care since I don't hear it all the time.

I do want a locking fuel door though.

I have added lots new lights grill and some other small things, saving for new rims and tires thought a fuel door would be a nice cheap mod to add to my all black/smoked carbon fiber look...

WD40 is not intended to be a lubricant. It was designed to displace moisture. Like has already been suggested, use something like an actual lube, such as lithium grease.

WD40 is bad for hinges. Use white lithium grease.

Or, move to Oregon. They don't let pump your own gas (diesel yes, boat and motorcycle yes). You will never hear it squeak again. HA
