I bent ONE of mine in Moab last year. When we got home, I sent my wife to take it in after to get aligned while I was out of town for work. They called halfway through the alignment and said they couldn't get it aligned because of THREE bent tabs.

I went with 2.0 resi for rear- they have a not advertised custom build model number for Dakar packs. Ordered mine through Headstrong.

Time for TC cams. I'm surprised mine haven't bent yet to be honest.

That's awesome. I thought that the old AllPro model was the only one who made a 2" fender

I think the model number is the same but they put a longer shaft in during assembly to allow for extra extension. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay, let me rephrase: no alignment tech is bending those unless you already broke them before he got ahold of the truck. :)

I suspect @tyfoon11 's was cracked by whatever happened, and the tech flatened it, if it wasn't already. I'd suspect a monkey with an impact wrench, but there isn't room there

It's possible but when the same alignment tech doesn't even set the steering wheel straight after I don't doubt he tried to muscle the alignment into place and ruined the other two. People can be idiots.

The idiocy is assumed :) I just question the force required. After all the effort spent getting the damned things off, and trying to Bush fix them...

Regardless, welcome to the TC cam tab club :)

Again...not accurate amigo, tons of people have had their tabs flattened by alignment techs. The tabs are that weak and the concentric washer itself adds leverage.

Apparently in addition to not doing alignments they can also break shit, fantastic.

If you leave an alignment tech alone with a rusty, striped bolt labeled "do not remove" and a paperclip will he remove the bolt while you get coffee?

This is why I don't trust firestone or these other franchise alignment shops. They hire an 18 year old out of HS and expect the machine to do the work while they just spin bolts.

I'll pay 80 every time if it means going to a legit alignment shop with a tech that understands that manufacturers suggestions do not apply to modified vehilcles.

We have a few in Phoenix. I use Network Alignment who was recommended by SDHQ. That's where they send their work.
I've really only heard one horror story out of there with a members dumped Honda. When it comes to Firestone and places like that I've heard more than enough bad to never step foot in one.

One day I'll budget some tables and start to do them myself. They would end up paying for themselves quickly.

i need a level driveway. If i have to re-pave it's going to be flat concrete, not asphalt.

You do. I'd go ahead and buy one of the $200 kits, just for the clamps to hold the level on the wheel.

even with my rough driveway I was able to get close last time I had issues.
