If he has more of them you should sell them on here. A lot of people want in cab storage that only takes up half the back..

We do have a laundry room full of unopened boxes but they're not mine to sell. I'll have to run that by him and maybe post an ad in the classified section if he agrees to it.

Hey guys, brand new member here, Pics of my stock '04 TRD are below.

I am planning 3 inches, and 285/75R/16 BFG AT KO2 or MT KM2 ultimately. However, I bought this from a buddy and the current BFG ATs are 265/75R with a lot of tread left. My question is I'd like to put either the ARB or the ALL Pro Expedition bumper on it as well as sliders from ALL Pro and their rear tube bumper. Due to the fact I have a solid 15k left on the tires, can the stock TRD suspension support the extra weight of the front bumper and to a lesser degree the extra weight from the sliders and rear tube?

just to be clear, I will probably surf craigslist or something and get a Warn 8 or 9 thousand series winch, but I will wait to install that until i get the lift which will obviously have the adequate springs for the weight. I am planning to go all out and do the Boss from Toytec.

Any and all thoughts and suggestions are more than welcome. If this is the wrong thread to post something like this, please direct me where to go, didnt mean to hijack this thread and screw up anyone's mojo.

    Cheers fellas

I think you could also get the locker as an add on option without necessarily getting the TRD

Sliders and rear bumper should be fine, but speaking from experience, no the front will not hold up overtime. I tried with my Arb and which and the ride was terrible and the front started to sag so much my tires rubbed. I went with the bilstein 5100s front and rear and OME springs, very common on here and will improve looks and rose as well

You'll be fine, up untill you get around to the front suspension. dont need to worry about anything on the rear end in terms of weight. The front end without a winch may sag a tiny bit, and effect your alignment a tad but nothing I would say is very concerning. You see stock trucks running arbs with a winch all the time. As long as you give the suspension a bit of time and get an alignment you won't eat the tires. You probably will notice the extra weight at certain points when the weight shifts to one end of the front (i.e. Turning tight going into a hole and climbing out). 99% of driving you won't have any real issues.

Assuming you have stock sized tires the only issue you will have is bottoming out in the front. That will only occur off-road or situations that would cause a substantial articulation of the front, if your sway bar is attached it's not likely then. Assuming you drive like a normal human you won't damage anything hitting the bump stops off-road once and awhile. I wouldn't do it long term as a stronger spring will ride better.

awesome thanks a ton for the feedback. The tires are 265/75, which i think is what came on these from the factory.

this helps, it might make most sense for me to do the rear bumper and sliders now, then when ready for the lift get my bumper at the same time. Amazon is just doing a heck of a deal on the ARB with free shipping with a prime account, settling in for a little over 800 bucks all in delivered, which is why I was asking.

just curious, love the way you've got yours set up. Who makes that rear bumper on your rig? Also love that trailer and tent set up you have... very, very cool.

Looks like you got plenty of room to weld a tube in between those two bolts.

Here's how my All Pro is designed

Thank you for the pic. That helps. I'm actually working on the tie in right this moment. One side is done ready to be welded on the truck. Almost done with the driver side.

Put one of my new Northstar AGM 24Fs into the stock location. I was glad to see it fits just fine with no modifications required. FWIW, the stock size is group 35.

I am seeing a huge improvement in starter motor cranking. Not that it was that bad before, but now it is really snappy. In fact, the entire electrical system seems to be performing better.

Thanks dude I love it to. The rear bumper is by a company called Trail Gear. No complaints thus far, besides it being hard to make a swing away for.

@Tonto27 has a pretty nice swingout setup on his Trail Gear. Saw it this past year in Moab. This is the only picture I could really dig up of it completed.

Soooo did you take out the abs system or did your truck come without it? The module takes up so much space and I can't put my compressor over there anymore because of the cruise control on my 2000 is wire compared to electrical on my old 04!

Nice. What year are you? 03 right? I'm gonna make a new battery tray from steel and just make it wide enough to put sit my compressor next to my battery! No room in my engine bay anymore!
