Been looking at property in Ocala but will be looking around that surrounding area. The goal is to secure property this year then build a house.

    I have a few mods
quoted from my post on facebook, need some suggestions

Got the G52 bolted up to the 20r in my 1980 today.....pain. in. The. Ass. I was expecting it to be a bit easier, but ran into so many issues trying to take the L43 out and put the g52 in. Now that it's in, I need to figure out what to do about the crossmember since the bushings are gone, almost literally, and it's not quite as wide as I thought it was.

Any suggestions on what to do for a new trans crossmember and bushings for a G52 that fits a 1st gen pickup? I was thinking about reusing the L43s crossmember since it seems to be wider than the g52s. Then I was thinking of welding some 1/4" vertical plates on the ends then just drill through the side of the frame instead of the bottom. Any ideas?

I know this has been probably asked a million times. I got a 2010 access cab 4 cylinder 5 speed 4x4. I only want a little lift in the front but maintain a good ride. How much higher would the front be if I just put some 5100's on at 1.75? I wasn't gonna lift the back if I didn't need to. Just want a little more clearance in the front. Also with my set up what spring would I run to maintain a soft ride OME 884? Thanks
