Dipped the border around grill. Used plastidip on my subaru as well; love the stuff, as it held up for 2 years before touching it up.

Is this a grey or black? Could be the lighting but I dig it! Definitely different

Yeah, I'm tracking they stock it there...I was just curious if anyone had tried it and would be able to give some feedback on how it compares to Plastidip. It looks like a lot of company's are starting to knockoff this product.

Thanks. It's gun metal grey. A local ACE hardware has all of the plastidip colors and sealers. On a different note, I tried the other brand (@ Home Depot) that someone mentioned on my old Subaru wheels and found it hard to remove.

Nice man, Do you plan on doing anything else with the gun metal? Like the emblems?

I may try the white side mirrors grey and if it doesn't look good, just peel it off....gotta love the "dip"

Looks great! Planning on doing the same to mine once it shows up. I'm curious, did you remove the emblem or just tape it off? I've had some problems before with Plastidip while trying to remove tape and ending up peeling an edge a bit.

I actually shot the emblem on the grill and took a razor blade and tirmed the plastic dip off. I didn't want to take the emblem off because it has only 3 small clips and I was afraid of breaking them off

I dipped the emblem yesterday. Used 4 coats of blue and two coats of Glossifier. The blue is not an exact match, but it will stand out on the black grill. I am in the process of dipping the grill now.

I did the emblems only. Quite satisfied with results. Taping a non-issue.

When dipping wheels, are you supposed to mask off the backside of the wheel?
