Big question is how does it sound inside the cabin during a road test? Not worth it if it drones.

Haha, I wouldn't buy it if it did.

I had Eisenmann exhaust on my bmw m3 and it didn't drone.

I don't think you "really" know until you hear it in person and drive around with it. Found that
out when I put on a super 44 a couple weeks back, sounded pretty good in vids, did not sound
the same way AT ALL inside the truck.

So you saying you regret getting it put on? I know you were going back and forth and finally decided to get it done. You no like it?

Nope, not one bit after driving it a couple days. On our truck, it sounds just like an old car that the
muffler had broken away from the pipe. Had a few guys from work come out and have
a listen as well as the wife and ALL agreed so I was back a day later and put the stock back on
that I had the "carefully" take off as a just in case I come back thought. :D

I've never heard a v6 with an aftermarket exhaust/muffler sound I liked but after listening
to a few YouTube vids, I thought, sounds good but only one way to know for sure and that was to
have one put on. The mechanic who did the work asked about it, told him the same and he loved
them on his v8, made me an offer - which ended up covering at least the cost to switch it back.

I tried convincing myself after I had it done I liked it and would get used to it but even I didn't believe me! hahahahaaa

haha oh man at least you could put the stock back on and be done with it. I've been going back and forth myself. I told my wife, it's nearly impossible to find a great sounding v6 so I've never made the move, not even on my 2011 I had. I doubt I'll put one one. If I can find an intake I'll just do that and be done with it until I upgrade to a full size later on in life.

    lol whew! :D

I told them when I brought it in, be gentle with the removal, I may be back in a couple days. I rolled the stock
muffler up in cardboard and set it in the bed. I am out the cost of the muffler and install of $175 so lesson learned.
but like I said, the vids sound good so no other way to know without trying it - First morning I pulled out from my
house wifey called and said wtf was that sound??? hahahaha!! :D I was like ummm, errr that's the new exhaust hun, you like!??
    :burnrubber:.

I'm with you man, love the sounds and feel the CAI adds to a V6, hoping the 3.5 works
out as well as the my 2011 sport as the only upgrade to exhaust I did on that was the CAI
with a "deckplate" type of mod in the front of it and loved it. URD has one in the works
    now.
