    Setup:

    - King Remote Rervoir rear shocks
    - Icon Progressive AAL

    - Front shocks set at 1" lift over Kings factory setting
    - No alignment issues
    - No driveline issues
    - No rubbing under normal driving conditions
    - Minor rub when turning when shocks are compressed. I'm still trying to locate the rub to find a solution. I haven't trimmed anything yet but I'm not running the air dam.

Looks so good! I'm assuming you meant to type 285/70R17?
Congrats, and I hope you get that rubbing figured out.

Correct. 285/70R17. I updated my post. Rubbing has only happened twice in 2 days. May just take the front up a half inch (I still have 2 inches of adjustment). If it's just a inner fender well rub, I'll cut that. If it requires a CMC, which I doubt, I don't have a problem doing that either. Can't tell yet where the rub is though. Honestly, I haven't looked too hard.

I wish I could afford the King setup. Putting these same tires on my truck in the next couple of weeks with an OME/Wheeler's lift. My wheels are 8" with 4.5"BS and no offset. Hopefully no rubbing.

Completed my lift :) 1.5" bilstein 5100 on front, 5100 bilstein + aal in rear, relatively level, maybe 1/4" rake remaining (nose down). 265x70x17 BFG KO2 on 17x8 Trd Pro wheels + spidertrax spacers. This setup will stick the tire out a bit over 2" from stock. Took off the air dam due to slight rubbing on hard terrain. There was only slight alignment adjustment needed, and the ride is slightly stiffer than stock.

Pretty sure those wheels are 17" x 7" unless an aftermarket clone. Great looking truck!

I was looking real hard at those wheels before purchasing the ones I did. Only reason I noticed.

I'm looking to do something similar but I don't have a King suspension budget. Where did you spec this out? I'm thinking of Fox 2.0's in the rear with 2.5 up front. Got talked out of Bilsteins.

PS: Truck looks awesome! Must ride pretty sweet too eh?

Thanks, man. I did a ton a research. I spoke with Down South Motorsports about some options. On their site, they have a "build your own midtravel kit" page. That's where I started. Considered all the major players in suspension (Fox, King, Icon). Went back and forth for a month and finally realized that if I do it right, exactly how I want it, I'll only have to do it once... ever. Don't think you can go wrong with Fox or King. They're both the very best in quality and factory support.

I've been driving on the new lifted rig for a couple of days and it rides very nicely. No squeaking from the rear AAL so far. I'll let you know if anything changes.

Pretty sure you're gonna need an UCA with 887's. I'm running 5100s with 885s and I'm maxed out alignment.
