    Hi all,
Thanks so much for all in info throughout this thread. I am thinking about purchasing one of these kits but am torn on what way to go (stealth or flush). My primary use will be using the bar for night driving in Idaho. Don't want to hit a cow.

If I get a combo led bar will I lose a noticeable amount of flood/side light if I go stealth? Also do you think I will be able to put an amber light cover on either style (stealth or flush) for the winter? I was thinking three 10'' light covers (http://www.rigidindustries.com/light-covers/11093).

Thank you all for your time and thoughts.

The Stealth mount with a Spot/Flood combo LED will lose a little bit of flood lighting because it is set back behind the grill. If you are looking for the best flood lighting then the Flush with the Spot/Flood combo will work the best. It will be ideal for spotting animals off the side of the road.

For covers the Rigid ones will work. These will work too and may be cheaper, just buy 4 for full coverage. https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...-road-led-light-bar-lens-cover--colored/1832/

I'm in for a stealth after the 4th. Hopefully you still have one.

Definitely looking into this. I'm also interested in the possibility of the separate bars vs a single due to the licence plate, but I wouldn't mind just mounting the plate lower for this.

Of your open to moving the plate I think you will be much happier with the amount of additional light you get. Figure it's about 40% more if you just move the plate up or down a little bit. I personally think it's worth the extra effort.

I'd have to agree. I put my S-pen to work and moving it down looks good. Now I have to run this by the wife.

Pics of what moving it down would look for others considering this.

Just put in another order for more laser cutting. I only have 4 Stealth mounts left on the shelf, but will have 10 more ready in a couple weeks. Still have plenty of Flush mounts available as well. If you want to get one please let me know!

    Hey Everyone,

I wanted to provide an update on current and future orders.

First of all, for the current orders... Anyone waiting for a 4D style LED, they should be shipped out today from Cali Raised and I will provide you with tracking this afternoon once I get it from them. All Stealth mounts are sold out.

For future orders… It displeases me to announce that I will not be taking any more orders at this time. I have 10 Flush mounts left if anyone is interested in one. They will be sold for $70 with shipping. I am just trying to re-coup my cost for these. See below for potential future sales.

As for the why… There are a few reasons and it wasn’t an easy choice as I get emailed every day asking for these mounts. The first and most important is family. I have been spending a lot of time in the shop and on the phone, and away from my kids. This is a side business for me and I have been so busy with it that I can see a noticeable difference with my boys. I need to spend more time with them! The other main one is my process. Because my business is small I rely on a lot of vendors to do things for me. I counted today and I use 7 different vendors to do things. This is too many and it adds a lot of time and expense to my process. Because I rely on so many I can’t make parts fast enough, or I have to address things by proxy working as the middle man that I could be handling myself if I had a bigger operation. I also rely heavily on shipping companies to keep schedules and customers happy and it’s too much. So my plan is this. I am going to stop making mounts at this time. I have some new equipment I want to buy so I can bring things in house, and I will also be making this my full time job in about 12 months. I am going to re-group and then re-offer my parts and many other new ones at a lower price and better than ever! My goal is to make your experience with me awesome and problem free, so this is what I need to do to make this happen.

For my customers... I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE. I am committed to honoring the same quality and customer service for all current and past orders. I am NOT sending these mounts out and then going away. I was active in the TW community before making my mounts and I plan to continue being active and part of this community. I still offer local fab services time permitting with my schedule and will probably pop up some batch runs on products from time to time! So if you still want one please keep an eye out on the group buy section! I am very grateful to have had so many great customers buy my LED mounts. This is actually because of my company growing too fast, and not the other way around. You guys are the best!!!

    THANK YOU
    Chris
