Hi. Are there directions for removing the trim piece from the console that surrounds the shifter handle and the gear indicator?

Got some good advice, just went out and yanked the cupholder out, and then managed to get the console piece off. Must have been a half pound of crumbs, dust, crud, Amelia Earhart's keys and everything else under there! Got it cleaned up, and will put it back together until I get my paint, then I can pull it apart again, and work on the trim painting I want to do.
    Thanks for everyone's help!

Can you please post pictures when you paint it?

I want to do something with mine. I'm not sure if I just want to paint it, or actually make a whole new custom piece.

    Sure, no problem.
I'd LOVE to paint the crosshatched parts black, but I won't do that unless I could yank the radio surround off, and paint it to match. I guess I'll just leave it silver, and just paint the smooth part around the shifter gate area Radiant Red.

I can tolerate the silver, it's the grey I can't stand.

My F250 is 14 years old and the beige interior looks brand new. My Tacoma is an 2013 I bought second-hand and the interior already looks nasty. The driver's side handle has like permanent grease stains or something else.

Yeah, the vinyl is kinda susceptible to staining pretty easily. Have you tried a little Dawn dishwashing detergent on a sponge for the grease stains?

Not yet. It's only been detailed by the dealership I got it at. I need to spend some time getting in the truck and cleaning it. I'm just waiting for warmer weather lol
