Took my truck in today for its first 5k mile service....disappointed to find out they don't use synthetic. Will be doing my own oil changes from now on.

Not today but this weekend. Installed Bestop and swapped out factory coils for Eibach/Toytech reset 5100's to 0, then 1" rear toytec blocks.

That's sweet. I sent it to some grip buddies. All i have is a bail of stage cord tied on for easy dispensing.

Thats the same reason most of us avoid thew dealership other than their high prices, shitty work, and taking half a day to do a 10 minute oil change.

I recently switched to synthetic and bought a bigger filter to see how well it works for extended use. I have been reading that the oil can run up to 15k miles with no change, but the filter is the first thing to go so I upgraded the filter and will wait and see how the oil looks. I don't think ill run it more than 10k even if it is clean since the filter isn't all that much bigger than the stock one.

Mine had helped me install my n-fab steps. When the new wheels and suspension came in, that's when the bitching started...

Actually the more I think on it, do a rear plug delete with it being replaced with the same sized pocket from the other side of the bed with the new retractable plug living in the pocket and reel in the bed side. That would be pretty sweet. I may need to look more into this.

What? No synthetic....that's crazy. I just did my first 5k change at the 2k mark. Use it or lose it for the Toyota Care.

Nothing big. Just installed a Pop & Lock on my 09 tailgate. It adds a little piece of mind.

I dig that! Wonder how it would look at the top of the tailgate above the handle or at the very bottom right above the crease?

Went to Vatozone and bought some Duplicolor touch up paint for all of the rock chips no the hood. Then I ordered this.
