and I read his profile and it says tacoma traded for big horn???? thats why i asked for clarification?

 

I never changed it lol. Planning on getting a third gen in the future which is why I'm still hanging around.

I wouldn't expect to see any significant updates in the 17 models given they just redesigned it. I'd also venture to guess a late 3rd quarter or maybe 4th quarter release to market date.

 

I wasn't thinking about changes but more in line with different options mix. Like the JBL option with the MT OR & tech package.....

 

I hope they do. It's a nice system for the non audiophile geeks like myself that like good sound but would probably not know what a super stereo should sound like. I keep my bass almost all the way down and it still bangs pretty hard.

 

Would like to see the moon roof as a stand alone option. I don't want one. It cuts headroom down to far in my opinion.

 

they are apparently offering a 4.6L V6 with the 4 cylinder engines......i would love to see how they pull that off

I always see these oddly written writeups about Toyotas. It boggles my mind, how is this even getting them anything? Are they getting enough hits to make the ad revenue work?

And who writes it? Is english their 15th language?

 

I think they will finally add height adjustable seats to the Tacoma. Maybe, they went the whole 2nd gen with people complaining about the seats.

 

Sweers addressed at least one update in an interview, the lack of power seats and how it will be addressed. So for all you who have been upset about that, time to trade your 16s in and a TRD PRO model, which will be $46k I'm sure, lol. I bet we have a few that move from a 16 to a 17 PRO model, I'll put money on it.

Maybe you get both a V6 and a I4. Put the 6 in on the weekends, I4 during the week. LOL

 

Maybe this is how you get a V6-4cyl.

 

The Toyota company wants to present the car with a Stop Start technology. The V6 4 cylinder can stop by directly injecting fuel into the piston and exploding it. Then it runs as a 4.6 L 4 cylinder.

 

Money saving? Sell a V6 but only put 4 Pistons and rods in.

 

Toyota never does anything worth while the second model year. I have yet to see any vehicle get a change except for minor stereo changes on the second year.

The 15 Tundra got a brake controller. The 16 got a new grill and other minor stuff.
