I'll try and find that write up, it sounds helpful. I'll run a lower caster, but what issues do you see happening at 6 deg? I don't know of any trucks running that much caster, but it's not unheard for other vehicles.

Adding unnecessary caster at the upper arm brings the tire back to where you don't want it. ;)

You won't be able to get 6 degrees caster from your lower control arm adjustment. And I didn't think you had LR UCA's? So just have the alignment tech get as much caster as he can without skewing off your other numbers by adjusting your lower control arm cams.

Right, but that's why I was asking before about aftermarket options. I was hoping there would be an aftermarket LCA with greater caster adjustment or something similar. And no I have the DSM UCAs, but it's still a good post, and has me considering other UCAs, because I believe mine have added caster built in. In the meantime I will be following your advice.

just got a simple lift on her
I think I would try the alignment first :)
but for record, when I was rockin a pretty stock first gen, I went from stock height with 31 inch tires and added 1.25 in wheel spacers and then I couldn't even get out of my driveway. no shit.
it was pretty crazy the difference it made.
alignment is cheaper though and you have to get it anyways :)

Dont think spacers will help. If your wheels are less than 4-4.5 inch backspacing change them out. I have fn five star on 285 generals and they rub with spindles and 6112 on the third ring.

If not changing the wheels you will need cmc, perfect alignment and probably to go slow over bumps when steering hard offroad.
