I thought this thread was about americans asking stuff to canadians, not canadians asking stuff to other canadians.

Thanks, I know edmondTrucott meant no harm with the post, it's just an issue that should be addressed, education is the key. I can take a good joke and in my circle of friends I am the prankster, really!
IMHO wouldn't post a stereotype or cultural joke on a forum such as this one with such a diverse membership, no place and no need for it ;)
Lets move on with more Questions/Answers :)

Canadian Max, I never knew how you guys felt about this. Most of the Newfoundlanders that I meet out west poke fun of "Newfys", and really do nothing to help the stereotype, I never really thought much of it. Thank you for sharing this, our country is so large, and so diverse, its unfortunate that things like this happen all too often...

So how about the total fluke of The Alouetes winning the Grey Cup? Sure seems like someone's gonna get fired for Saskatchewan?

ya that was a major fluke and i read in the paper here today that Sean Lucas was out there on the first one and not on the second one. but there are 3 guys that are responsible for counting and that is ken miller, kavis reed and jason armstead. but i think everyone is suprised that they made it that far but they definatly out played the alouettes so i think everyone in saskatchewan understands that

WHY ... WHY would you bring that up? :bananadead:

The riders played well - much better than expected - but the coaching staff failed them... #1: FG instead of a TD with 2 yards to go (idiotic decision); #2: declining the punt penalty and giving up a point; #3: the 13th man...

The Alouetes "won", but it was a shitty win.

I don't think it can be taught on the Internet... experience teaches you how to drive in winter, one week in a true, Canadian winter, will teach a bunch to anybody who has never driven in snow.

^^ It's only the true eastern Canadians who like smelt's, the new generations, 30 y/o and under eat salad an drink flat water, they don't have a strong enough stomach for true "wild food".
