No, provocative. You do maintenance on something, and it provokes failure. Ask any IT type. :)

I'm getting new wheels here in a couple months but need some help.. Was going to get the FN fx pro in 0offset and 4.5 back spacing. This will be paired with 285/7517 toyo at2 and 2.5 kings in BAMF mounts and also 2+ front lt of some brand. I know to clear the rear shocks I should be close to 3.5 back spacing so a 1" spacer and im set. Would it be a bad idea to run a 1.25" spacer to make the track widths of front to rear a bit closer but would make the wheel a 3.25 back spacing?

Bad idea? I guess it depends on what you're doing. I ran 1 1/2" spacers all around for 3 years and never had a problem. Only thing I found was that front wheel bearings go out A LOT faster. I went through 4 in about 15k miles. But you aren't worried about the front. I found nothing bad about running them on the rear and have the BAMF towers with the wheels at the time being 16x8 with 4.5 bs

Hmm alright then! Was just wondering if going lower then a 3.5 back spacing would be bad! I think my front drivers wheel bearing is going out but I can only hear it on really cold mornings

Would you be willing to sell the bumps and shocks separate? I'll cover shipping to TN and ship you factory bumps and Fox 2.0 non-res 8" shocks that have 6k miles on them so that you still have a complete setup to sell.

I'm gonna say to this too. My current wheel setup is 16x10 DIY beadlocks making them about 11" with -38 offset and 3" bs. No spacer on and the wheel sticks out about the same as the other setup. It also just barely clears my rear shocks but it does clear with no rubbing

Screenshot_2016-01-19-10-23-52.jpg So I am looking at this total chaos MT sua kit for $1575. I contacted Deaver and they said they sell these springs for $850...and total chaos sells this kit minus Springs for $575...
    http://www.chaosfab.com/2005-2014-Tacoma-Off-Road-Suspension-Accessories.html

Seems like if I just order these parts separately I save $150?

Plus does anyone have experience or opinions about this kit? My current all pro standard leafs and fox rrs just don't have the up travel I need.

To my knowledge, In order to retain droop but gain up travel (assuming the springs are good for more than 12" travel), you're going to have to go with a bed cage and go with a 12"< shock so you don't bottom out the shock before it bumps.

    Someone correct me if wrong.

Yea I am either going to build hoops or go with the bamf kit.

I am considering it, but the new rear hangers hang a lot lower on the dmz kit, and dmz actually recommended this kit.
