    Email from VP to the Director of my department and the two Managers: You guys can go home at Noon.
    Noon: Manger 1 sneaks out immediately and says nothing. Manager 2 is out of town. Director of the department walks around the entire department wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and says nothing to anyone about leaving early.
    1 hour before quitting time: Manager 2 sends an email to a colleague of mine expecting it to be answered after the holidays and the colleague responds. Manger 2 asks why they are still at the office when the VP gave the go ahead for everyone to go home? Colleague states we were never informed. Manager 2 forwards email from VP to department and tells us all to go home.

    New running joke around the office: Merry Christmas.
