Given that this is boost over 5 PSI... on fairly new trucks... things better be dialed in more than just a bit.

Yeah...I was one of the people waiting on the Magnuson 'solution' and got my availability call from LCE today. I passed on the product. I just can't justify the dollars. I'll remain n/a for the time being. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. I'm sure Magnuson can justify their pricing based on mfg scale projected against universe of available product...but it feels more like a hog move than a pig move to me.

..and I could be mistaken as well, but I'd be pleased too if I was sponsored by them.

Yea, I have to say I'm incredibly disappointed. I picked up my Tacoma last year when my old NA Tacoma just wasn't cutting it getting up the Colorado mountains with a few people and gear. I obviously couldn't take the test drive up into the mountains so I didn't know how hard I'd have to be hammering the engine to do so. I don't see how this price can be justified. Hopefully it's just opening day premium prices.

Wow.... $6195 that includes Bully Dog tuner= :bananadead:

Oh well, I guess I'll use the $6195 towards a twin turbo kit for the GTO.... at least IT will be fast

That price is definately steep! I thought that they would be priced at what the retail of the trd version was before markup. wasnt it like 4k?

Install it yourself and save about $1300. I spent about $200 for crank pulley tool and dealer flash.

Jaun-I'll hit you up once I get around to installing my gauges. Painting the exterior of the house so might be a bit.

I've been on the wait....I'll stay on the wait, until they get this sorted. They're covering their overhead costs for development, but with a bad business practice. Not a good idea to come out of the gate with a "new" product and try to recoupe R&D costs up front before they're sure that it will sell. Why make it unobtainable to most in the market from the start? No way to kick off a new product. Maybe after a while they'll set up an account on Etsy to see if anyone will buy this.

Is it the same performance as the TRD? I didn't see any specs.

That price, and its not even CA Street legal?? I will continue trolling ebay for used TRD superchargers. Don't see how a $500 bully dog unit justifies a $2000 price increase for a non street legal minor horsepower upgrade. Those $7000 TRD units from last month on Ebay dont seem as bad now as they did then.

Anyone know if these guys actually have these in stock? They also list the taco fit kit for $493, which I ordered, but part of me is expecting an out of stock email and refund to come back. If not Ill call and try and get the blower too. I'm in CA so need the actual TRD parts to stay SMOG legal.
