It's a dealer change. Or if you have that computer thingy that has the software the dealers use. Post 293 and 301 on this thread. "Tech stream" it cost $1400.

here is a free download link for Tech Stream. it is confirmed virus free and i have it installed in my laptop.

    http://www.toyota-tech.eu/GTS/Wizard/Step5-Software.aspx
*EDIT* this may or may not work. I haven't received my truck yet so I cannot confirm anything.

this is the vehicle interface i use with it

    http://www.tactrix.com/index.php?pa...category_id=6&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=53

here is a write up on how to get it to function. it is from the Scion FRS/Subaru BRZ forum but it has all the necessary information required to get it all working

    http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35530

have a wonderful time changing settings to your hearts content without having to pay the dealership!

if people were interested i could start a thread and make this a full write up

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
you can change that in "settings". with the truck in park.

That's listed as standard equipment in the USA. Should be on the stalk.

Well shit. I would have bet a beer I saw that listed on the TRD OR DC LB JBL, now I can't find it. I was pretty excited to have such a feature again after losing it post Passat. At least I get my heated seats back.

I also have a trd or and have no auto lights.

As far as the tpms reset. I'd imagine it's a wireless sensor. I'd also imagine it's needing to reconnect. Kind of like my kids wireless baby monitor camera system. If it gets to far away I have to go push a button on the camera to re sync them. May be totally off my rocker on it. But that's my guess.

yes it is to re calibrate the computer to know where each tire is. each sensor has a seperate ID as read by the computer. if you rotate the tires the computer will think the the front left tire is still there, when it is actually in the back now

You probably did if it had JBL since the auto (light-sensing) headlights are part of the premium & tech package. Some also refer to the lights turning off at a set interval after turning the truck off as auto headlights which I would think most packages come with to prevent a dead battery.

TPMS reset stuff is good material for those that haven't had it before. Thanks for posting the details.

Auto lights are standard on Limited, but Sport and OR must have the Premium and Tech Package for this feature.

Didn't see any mention of fog lights + parking lights. Found you can run your fog lights when you have just the parking lights on.
