yea exactly it all depends on your lift, and how tall you are as a person. Ive got a 2 inch in back ish, and im 5'11...im guessing i will need cab height

I can't mount an awning at that height, but you can still use an annex, however it bunches at the bottom. When I stand by the ladder I'm not eye level to the opening of the tent so it's still up there.

For me, I wanted my daughter to climb in and out safely with no worries, but eventually after kids get older I'll go the bed cap + roof rack route.

Prinsu Design Studios bed rack, Tepui Ruggerized XL RTT, Smittybilt awning and ARB screen in room setup. Airing everything out. Getting ready for the camping season.... Awning height is just over 6 feet, I have about 2 inches of ceiling above my head. ARB screen room is great for mosquito infested areas and provides access to the front and back door to the truck as well.

There was someone a while ago who used two eyelet bolts with a lock through it... Let me see if I can find it again.

How so? I was debating the keyed padlocks with eye bolts, but cutting at max 4 padlocks seems easier than having to cut 8 bolts or spend the time taking off all the hardware.

Doesn't help unless your bedrack is locked too

Yeah thats it. I know its an exhaust clamp just dont know how its connected to the tent. Was debating drilling a hole on the mounting rail and running a lock through that with a cable attatched to it. Interested to see other setups.

It takes me about 5 minutes to undo all the 13 mm bolts and another 5 to get the tent off with help. I was thinking with atleast one or two locks will create a more of a delay or stop someone from trying.

My bed rack is a pain to take on and off... Have only done it once and took me close to an hour. The plastic bed liner makes it super hard to get a wrench on the bolts and with 8 bolts total in the rack makes it really hard to do anything fast. Others may be different.
