I go between bourbon and Scotch. Bourbon is a weekly drinker. The single malts are generally something I dole out rarely, maybe once a month, either special occasion, or look at it and think, that's not going to drink itself, now is it?

    Wife likes it all, too.

I think I have already mentioned this in this thread, but if you are camping, bring some Lagavulin, sea salt chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers.

I swear to fucking god, adult s'mores epiphany at the campfire.

I'll stick up for him a little bit here and point out that a shot of fireball in your hot cocoa when you're ice fishing is pretty awesome. :notsure:

    I SECOND THIS!
Not crazy about s'mores, but drinking scotch around a black cherry campfire with your buddies is like smokey heaven. It's even better if you've got some good cigars.

If you guys like Gin and other whiskeys check out this Distillery.....

They have a Barrel aged Gin that is absolutely awesome!! It is aged in their Spiced rum barrels which gives it an amber color with a touch of spice.....

I had the opportunity to sample some of their product a few years back @ the Legends bar in Nashville them checked out the Distillery....

Awesome people doing what they love to do!!!

Gin is about the only alcohol I cannot drink. It tastes pine needles.

Here's the sample pack I was telling y'all about that I got for my birthday last month. Ever heard of any of it? I know my whiskeys, but I'm a virgin to scotch. (Also, ignore the 40 oz. Mickey's in the background. That was a college friend's way of asking me to be in his wedding lol.

Good starter kit. Pour a couple ounces in the Glencairn, add a couple drops of cold water and let is sit in the glass for a few minutes. Sniff it and then taste it. The water opens up the flavor profile.

    No ice.

Gin is fantastic, nothing like a dry gin martini with a couple jalapeno stuffed olives.

Ever tried Eagle Rare? Made by the same company that makes Buffalo Trace, one of my favorite Bourbons.

I do like occasional gin and tonics and martinis, but it's not something I can drink regularly or straight (if people even do that :notsure: )

    Not enough...
Didn't really like Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace tasted like a mixer bourbon at best.

Picked up a bottle of Blanton's and a bottle of 1792 Small Batch last night. Have to say, I am super impressed with 1792 and the fact that it's only $30. Just let it breathe for a bit.
Noah's Mill in the middle in a whole different level. Been working on that one for a while now. At 57% alcohol that shit will put some hair on your chest.
