I have never used it, but I know you can get spring paint. probably just a polymer paint that stays flexible or something, may be easier/cheaper than powder

Lol either you have lead foot syndrome mixed with jackrabbit starts or youre hauling around an elephant. I'd say me, but my truck averages 17mpg outside of 4x4 and towing.

Nope I like my headlights lol the one in the hood scoop is hard to see cause of the mesh an the ditch lights and pods in the bumper normally have amber covers on them so I'm not that worried I have smoked covers on the pods in my back bumper. I haven't been pulled over yet theres kids all over around here that run light bars most all the time and I don't normal use mine on the road an i haven't had a problem but I know I don't comply with the law either

Well...its the law, ignorance doesn't void it.
Well, i'm not certain about wattage but i believe 1500 lumens +/- %10 is the DOT limit.

Baltimore Hydrodip (owner is Alex) might be able to help you out, he is a automotive painter by day and does hydro, cerakote, and automotive as a home business. He does all my gun work, really great work at a really great price. At the very least, Alex will be able to give you some direction.

Personally, when I spray my 887s, I'm just going to use an enamel paint (for mild flex) and a semi-gloss sealant.
