    That part # on n-fabs' website says it fits both, so they must end at the back of the cab.

    Didn't think to search the part #, thanks! Looks like it does end there which for a short bed would be wheel to wheel. A wheel to wheel on a long bed would not fit on a short bed though. Still trying to convince my wife that she's having trouble getting into the truck.
